My boyfriend’s birthday is on Thursday and this mix was part of his present. The only thing that annoys me is how crooked the last track is written because I was being lazy. Actually the whole thing is crooked and messy but oh well.

Background: Well I’m leaving for college in two weeks and I have a boyfriend who will be left home. I am going to fight to stay together but at the time being it seems like he wants to break it off (we have yet to have the conversation though). This mix was started a while ago and I figured I might as well finish it. Songs about going to college/leaving/breaking up/being sad/missing someone aka songs that just make me exceedingly sad for the time being.

Background: I work in the dining room of a retirement community. After service is done we shut the doors while we do all of our clean up and what not. On nights when Jess and I are working we sing.
